Rider and mail mochila passed through Carson City Thursday evening on their way east toward the completion of a 1,966-mile journey re-creating the historic Pony Express route between Sacramento, CA, and St. Joseph, MO.

Riders exchanged the mail mochila at Second and Curry streets Thursday evening in downtown Carson City. Follow the Pony Express re-ride at xphomestation.com through to the finish June 30.
