UPDATE: The female driver sought for questioning in Tuesday’s hit and run with a male pedestrian has been found and was interviewed by the Carson City Sheriff’s Office. Charges have been referred to the Carson City District Attorney’s Office. It will be up to the DA to decide whether to prosecute, according to a sheriff’s office deputy.

A pedestrian was flown by Care Flight to the trauma unit at Renown Medical Center in Reno this afternoon after being hit by a car shortly before noon at Corbett and Stewart streets in Carson City. The vehicle sped away.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is looking for a blue or silver late 1990s Oldsmobile Cutlass or Buick with a partial California license plate 7CC.
It was last seen at around noon heading south on Stewart Street. If you’ve seen this vehicle call Carson City Dispatch at (775) 887-2011.
The condition of the pedestrian, an adult male, is unknown at this time.
