UPDATE: Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called Sunday afternoon to a crash involving a motorcycle in the area of US-50 West in the westbound lane near Golf Club Drive.
The crash was reported at around 1:20 p.m. The motorcycle rider reportedly suffered injuries after the motorcycle apparently slid. He was being treated at the scene by first responders. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
A Care Flight air ambulance was ordered and landed at the Park and Ride, located near the bottom of the junction of South Carson Street, US-50 and 395.
Motorists can expect delays.
