Despite summer break having begun this week, learning continued at the Carson City Library with the start of its annual Summer Learning Challenge, a summer-long event featuring workshops, presentations and activities.
The challenge includes age-appropriate assignments for participants birth to old age, as well as raffle prizes for those who complete the challenge.
The season-long event culminates with an end-of-summer party and grand-prize drawings Aug. 14 from 6-7:30 p.m.
