I Love Carson City

Dayton is dishing up fun this weekend with their annual Oodles of Noodles festival. Sunday features a pet parade, live music, and more. The Sequicentenial of the Civil War will be remembered at the Dayton Cemetery; just take Main Street up the hill and to the left. Street Vibrations Spring Revival roars into Reno this weekend, and Virginia City is sure to have its share of bikers, as well. So please drive carefully.

- 14th Annual Oodles of Noodles Cook Off and Festival: Live Entertainment, Pet Parade, Great Food, Vendors and Crafters, Civil War Re-Enactments, Old West Gun Shows, Motorsports and more in Old Town Dayton (Noodle Tasting Saturday Only; Pet Parade at 10am, $5 entry)
- Sundaes on Sunday: Carson City Library’s Grand Opening Sunday in the Secret Garden (2pm-4pm)

- Carson City BMX State Qualifiers races at the Livermore (Edmonds) Sports Complex (Signups 9am-10am; MUST have a full USABMX membership; $20)
- Hike for Hounds at Galena Regional Park: 18250 Mt Rose Hwy (9am sign in; hike 10am-1pm; $20, includes tee and gift bag; fundraiser for Pet Network Humane Society and the Canine Rehabilitation Center and Sanctuary; pet friendly)
- 1926 Edwards Motor Car Rides at the Nevada State Train Museum (10am-4pm; $4, $2 kids 11 and under)
- Virginia and Truckee Round-trip Train Rides -leave from Carson City Eastgate Depot: on Flint Drive, off U.S. Highway 50 East at 10am- Depart Virginia City Depot 3pm (tickets limited, $52, seniors and veterans $48, kids 3-16 $32)
- 23rd Annual Valhalla Renaissance Faire at Camp Richardson, South Lake Tahoe (10am-5pm; $18 Adults, kids $8-$13)
