The Nevada Division of Insurance office at 788 Fairview Dr., in Carson City is closed this morning, and telephone calls to the office are being directed to Las Vegas after employees may have been sickened by pest spraying.
Carson Now attempted to contact the division, where a live person answered the phone and directed any information to the Division’s press officer. The press officer was unavailable and two messages were left. An inquiry to the Division of Insurance office in Las Vegas from a person who answered the phone said that there was “some sort of construction mishap” but doesn’t know the nature of the event. When asked if anyone was hurt, the person said they didn’t think so.
An anonymous tip to Carson Now said that employees were sickened by pest spraying in the facility.
