First responders were dispatched to a gravel pit at the end of Goni Road in North Carson City on report of a paraglider who crashed to the ground, sustaining unknown injuries after falling 50 feet into the pit.
Carson City Fire and Rescue as well as the Carson City Sheriff’s Office have responded to the call and are on scene.
According to dispatch, the paraglider was complaining of pain to their neck and back from the fall.
The original call came in around noon Saturday.
