Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded Tuesday afternoon to a structure fire in the area between Dilday Drive and Stafford Way.
Called into dispatch at 12:27 p.m., the reporting party advised that a shed was on fire with flames visible.
Arriving Carson City firefighters reported a fully involved shed on fire in the backyard of a residence and attacked the fire while Carson City Sheriff’s Office deputies evacuated the residents at the nearby home. The fire was knocked down at 12:40 p.m.
People are advised to stay clear of the area.
