EmployNV is set to host its 2nd annual Memorial Career Fair in Carson City, the largest version of the event to date. This year’s fair brings together 36 employers representing two states, seven Nevada counties and 13 Nevada cities for a regionwide hiring opportunity.

Career seekers will have access to more than 380 positions listed through EmployNV.gov and more than 500 total jobs available for interviews across eight major industry sectors.

When: Wednesday, May 27, 2026, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Western Nevada College (WNC), 2201 W. College Parkway, Carson City

The 2nd annual Memorial Career Fair marks a significant expansion from its inaugural year, featuring twice as many employers and triple the number of available positions.

The event also comes on the heels of a milestone for Western Nevada College, which recently celebrated a record-breaking 686 graduates in its Class of 2026. Many of the participating employers will meet graduates directly on campus, offering a seamless transition from degree to career. The centralized location also makes the fair easily accessible for job seekers throughout northern Nevada.

“Career fairs create meaningful connections between education, workforce development and community opportunity,” said Western Nevada College President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe.“We are proud to partner with the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation to bring together employers from a wide range of industries and provide students, graduates and community members with direct access to career opportunities. Events like this help strengthen our regional workforce while empowering individuals to take the next step toward rewarding careers.”

“We’re proud to connect job seekers with hundreds of opportunities right in their community,” said Employment Security Division Deputy Administrator John Parel.“We hope this job fair supports both new graduates and experienced job seekers looking for their next professional step.”

Industries represented at the 2026 Memorial Career Fair include construction, finance, health care, hospitality, public relations, logistics, transportation, manufacturing and public works. Major employers in attendance include hospitals such as Carson Valley Health, Carson Tahoe Health and St. Mary’s, leading manufacturers like Tesla and Panasonic, and key hospitality partners including Bally’s Lake Tahoe, IVGID and the Hyatt.

The event is open to the public, and all job seekers are encouraged to attend.
