Arts and Culture Alpine County (ACAC) showcases the talents of local area artists of a variety of media, including painting, photography, music, and storytelling. 

They coordinate with local schools to enhance the arts for students by sponsoring activities, workshops and youth performances.

Saturday, May 17, the Alpine County Library in Markleeville hosted artists Chris Kutzscher (Kirkwood) and Camille Howard (Gardnerville) at the Mayflowers Library Art Show.

Chris works mostly in Watercolor, and Camille works in oils. 

They talked about their paintings and inspirations and answered the questions of the audience. 

Many of their paintings are displayed at the library and will remain on display until June 2, so come on down to  270 Laramie St., Markleeville CA, 96120.
