New officers for the American Association of University Women Capital Branch were installed Thursday evening, May 12. They are: Lillian Hack, president; Jane Johnson, VP Programs; Carolyn Harris, treasurer; Staci Denham, Membership chair; and Lin Nary, Secretary. Phyllis Westfall officiated.
AAUW’s Mission is to advance equality for all women and girls, through advocacy, education and research. Members of AAUW belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance. Through local fundraising projects, the Capital Branch provides college scholarships to young women in Carson City and Dayton.
