Roller derby athletes with at least minimum skills turned out Sunday afternoon to skate in the Key Club Knockout event held at the Carson City Community Center gymnasium.
The scrimmaged bout, organized and hosted by the Carson Victory Rollers roller derby team, was a benefit for the Carson High School Key Club, a local affiliate of Key Club International. All proceeds went to support the CHS Key Club.
Key Club International “is the oldest and largest student-led service program for high school students,” Key Club International web site said. “Key Club promotes leadership through serving others.”
