A procession of law enforcement officers from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office went through Carson City late Thursday afternoon in honor of a retired law enforcement officer who recently passed away.
The officer was a highly decorated retired Reno, Douglas and Sparks police officer. The name of the officer has not been officially released. The procession ended at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley on North Roop Street.
