On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at approximately 8:45 a.m., members of the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Task Force, in coordination with the Nevada State Police Parole and Probation Department, contacted Aslan Anthony Wurthmann, a 42-year-old Stagecoach resident and Tier II registered sex offender. Wurthmann was found to be in violation of his legal requirements to register as a sex offender, as well as conditions of his probation.
Wurthmann was taken into custody and booked on felony charges related to non-compliance with sex offender registration requirements and for violating the terms of his probation.
Later the same morning, at approximately 10 a.m., members of the Sex Offender Task Force contacted Ricky Lee Wood, a 66-year-old Silver Springs resident and Tier III registered sex offender. Wood was found to be out of compliance with his sex offender registration obligations and was taken into custody. He was booked on one felony charge of violating sex offender registration requirements.
