Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of April 17-23, 2017. Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work. Please use caution.
— William Street between Curry and Minnesota Streets, including the intersections, will be closed from Tuesday at 7 a.m. to Wednesday at 7 p.m.
— Phillips Street just north of Robinson Street will be closed Tuesday for about a week
— Sophia Street will be closed between Carson and Plaza Streets, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
— Evan Street will be closed between Simone Avenue to Saliman Road, to through traffic, Wednesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Lane closures or restrictions expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Please use caution.
— U.S. 50 at the U.S. 395 intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction for the month of April for freeway improvements (travel delays are expected on South Carson Street near the U.S. 50 Spooner junction).
— South Carson Street between Clear Creek and Snyder Avenues will have a single northbound lane closure starting Monday and lasting for about a month.
— South Carson Street between Clear Creek and Snyder Avenues will have a single southbound lane closure Monday through Friday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
— Stewart Street will have single lane closures between Fifth and William Streets, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
— Sonoma Street between Saliman Road and Halleck Drive will have narrowed lanes, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
— Plaza Street will have the southbound lane closed between William and Sophia Streets, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
— Saliman Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Appaloosa Court and Goldfield Avenue, Wednesday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
