Opening ceremonies for the Carson City Little League were held Saturday morning at Governor’s Field, marking the official start to the 2017 Little League baseball season.

Players in seven competitive age divisions assembled in full uniform for the ceremonies. Games began as early as 9 a.m. Saturday. Late games start as late as 5:30 p.m. tonight.

The seven Little League divisions include Juniors, Majors, AAA, AA, A, Coach Pitch and T-Ball.
