This week’s Rotary Club Senior Spotlight Chloe Christy is wrapping up her high school career with a record that reflects both determination and balance. Graduating with an impressive 4.2 weighted GPA, Chloe has spent the past four years challenging herself through a full schedule of Honors and Advanced Placement courses, consistently pushing to achieve at the highest level.
Due to her persistence, this fall, Chloe will head to Penn State, where she has earned an academic scholarship. She plans to study criminology, with the goal of becoming a lawyer specializing in corporate or criminal law.
Her dedication doesn’t stop in the classroom. Chloe has been a four-year member of the Carson High swim team, where her commitment and perseverance have helped her reach Regionals for the past two seasons. With another season underway, she’s hoping to make it back once again, an achievement that would further highlight her growth as both an athlete and a competitor.
Outside of school, Chloe is a familiar face at the local community pool, where she works as a lifeguard and swim lessons instructor. In that role, she not only ensures the safety of others but also serves as a mentor to younger swimmers, helping them build confidence in and out of the water. It’s just one more example of her strong sense of responsibility and leadership.
Even with a packed schedule, Chloe makes time for what matters most—supporting her family. Whether helping at home or simply being present, she values those connections and stays grounded despite her many accomplishments.
With her drive, discipline and genuine care for others, Chloe Christy embodies what it means to be a Carson High senior. As she takes the next step, she will continue to make a meaningful impact wherever she goes.
