Carson City Fire Department, sheriff’s deputies and the Nevada Highway Patrol were called to a vehicle crash with injuries on the I-580 freeway in the southbound lane.
The crash was reported to NHP at 1:46 p.m. near Arrowhead. One person was flown by Care Flight to Renown Medical Center in Reno. Deputies were re-directing traffic around the crash. Motorists can expect delays.
The condition of those injured is unknown at this time.
