A 51-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday in the 1900 block of Boeing Way for suspicion of gross misdemeanor false imprisonment, domestic battery with a prior conviction and a warrant, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

According to the arrest report, the victim told the investigating deputy that her boyfriend punched her multiple times in the face, threw a space heater that hit her in the head and then grabbed her cell phone saying he would not let her make any calls. She also said the man threatened to kill her.

She provided a written statement of the incident and was taken to the hospital for treated for her injuries. The suspect told the deputy he was off his meds, everything was fuzzy and he wanted to kill himself. When the deputy asked him for his name, the man said “you know who I am,” the arrest report states. A wants and warrant search was conducted and he had a warrant for his arrest made on Feb. 22, 2017. The man was arrested at 8:52 a.m. Bail: $10,500.

— A 28-year-old Dayton woman and an inmate at the Carson City jail was booked on Wednesday, 7:32 p.m.for a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued March 29 out of Dayton Township Court. Bail: $1,000.

— A 45-year-old transient was arrested Thursday, 2:12 a.m. in the 3200 block of Market Street for a misdemeanor failure to appear in traffic court warrant. Bail: $955.

— A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, 2:46 a.m. in the area of East William and Roop Street for two misdemeanor warrants issued simultaneously on March 16 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $6,000.
