A 19-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Wednesday, 7:17 p.m. at the Walmart store in the 3200 block of Market Street on misdemeanor suspicion of petit larceny, contributing to the delinquency of minors and a contempt of court warrant, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, a deputy was dispatched to the store in reference to shoplifting. The officer met with a loss prevention employee who pointed to a blue Toyota and stated the vehicle had suspects that had stolen merchandise from the store.
A deputy made contact with the driver of the Toyota, the 19-year-old suspect. Store security advised she had stole $41.26 in items. Security said he witnessed the suspect collect the items and then placed them in a backpack, the arrest report states.
Security further advised another person, a 17-year-old male, was with the suspect and was carrying the backpack. The two walked out of Walmart with the backpack and were stopped by Walmart security, the report states.
The deputy made contact with two subjects inside the Toyota, each 17 years of age. The suspect was the only adult. The three juveniles were also arrested. Bail: $1,489.
— 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 7:35 p.m. in the 1800 block of East Long Street on a misdemeanor warrant, contempt of court and for possession of marijuana. According to the arrest report, a deputy was dispatched to the area for a complaint of an unwanted subject who had been evicted. The deputy learned the eviction notice had an expiration of March 31, 1 p.m.
The officer asked for the man’s identification. The man produced an ID and learned he had a contempt of court warrant for his arrest. He was placed into custody. During a pat down search the officer found a plastic bag in his front pant pocket that contained marijuana. Bail: $1,237.
— A 34-year-old Dayton man was booked Wednesday, 2:13 p.m. into Carson City Jail after turning himself in on a contempt of court warrant. Bail: $100.
— A 51-year-old Gardnerville man was booked Wednesday into Carson City Jail on a misdemeanor warrant, violation of a suspended sentence, issued Dec. 17, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
