Western Nevada College sophomore shortstop Makaylee Jaussi has been selected as the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her performances during a recent four-game softball series against Colorado Northwestern.
Jaussi batted .428 against the Spartans, collecting six hits and seven RBI. She scored five runs as the Wildcats won all four games during the March 18-19 series in Carson City.
Jaussi was a first-team All-SWAC selection as a freshman, hitting .323 with a .413 on-base average.
