A neighbor dispute that turned into a fight Saturday morning at a Pheasant Drive residence resulted in arrests in which one person was booked for alleged felony battery with a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.
At this time, one person arrested was named in the booking report. The names and alleged offenses involving three others in the altercation have not been released as part of the ongoing investigation, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office sergeant. We will update if there are charges involving the three others involved.
According to the report, Alyssa Marie Slader was taken into custody at 8:27 a.m. Saturday as part of the investigation. She was booked for suspicion of alleged battery with a deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm and a misdemeanor bench warrant.
Four people were involved in the incident, where suspect Slader is alleged to have assaulted the victim, pushing, punching and then assaulting him in the face with a rock, causing substantial bodily harm. He was taken to the hospital. The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
During the altercation, a man is also alleged to have fired a gunshot into the air, telling deputies he did it to stop the fight. The booking report states Ring surveillance video footage of the incident was obtained.
Slader was booked into jail with a bail amount of $30,000.

— A 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Saturday for misdemeanor probation violation. Bail: $3,000 cash.
— A 59-year-old Carson City woman, Maria Robles, was arrested Friday for suspicion of domestic battery with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, gross misdemeanor battery on a protected person and misdemeanor resisting an officer.
According to the report, deputies were dispatched Saturday, 4:38 p.m. to an address on Tenaya Drive for an assault with a deadly weapon call. Dispatch advised the suspect, Maria Robles, tried to hit the reporting party with a stick, and advised the stick hit the woman’s husband.
Deputies arrived on scene and observed three male subjects in the garage and driveway of the home. One stepped out of the garage and advised he had called CCSO and explained the incident, in which the woman allegedly hit a man with a stick and attempted to hit another man with a stick. Officers did not see any injuries of one of the men who was allegedly hit with the stick.
When officers attempted to speak with the woman, she began yelling at them. A deputy attempted to grab the woman’s arm when she became physical. She then began resisting officers, and scratched a deputy in the face with her nails, causing multiple lacerations on their face. She was taken to jail and booked for domestic battery with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, battery on a protected person and resisting a public officer. Bail: $30,000.
— A Carson City man was arrested Friday for suspicion of gross misdemeanor battery and false imprisonment. The suspect is a medical patient who allegedly grabbed an employee, putting her into a corner, grabbing her by the face and attempted to kiss her. The man also is alleged to have prevented the victim from opening the door in the March 17 incident. She said she was able to say no and reached for the door handle, opening the door. She escorted the man out and advised the front desk not to schedule the man with any females in the future, the report states.
Deputies located the man at his residence, and interviewed him. The man was read his Miranda warning and asked if he wished to speak. The man agreed and hesitated but did admit to grabbing the victim with both of his hands on her head. He said he did try to go for a kiss, apologizing to the deputy saying he was not a bad person. He was asked if he cornered the victim and tried to kiss her again. He said she might have felt cornered due to the wall behind her and the desk next to them. The man apologized and said he made a mistake. He was booked for suspicion of battery on a protected person and false imprisonment. Bail: $2,137.
– A 23-year-old Reno man was arrested March 21 for a misdemeanor warrant, violation of conditions of a suspended sentence. The warrant was issued Dec. 11, 2019 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,00 cash.
— A 31-year-old Dayton man was arrested March 21 for a warrant alleging violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $3,000 cash.
— A 50-year-old Carson City woman, Sky Michelle Stauffer, was arrested March 21 in the 400 block of North Carson Street for suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, gross misdemeanor possession of a prescription drug without a prescription, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and a Department of Alternative Sentencing violation. Bail: $3,000 cash.
— A 55-year-old man was arrested for three misdemeanor warrants: contempt of court, obstructing and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $3,000 cash.
— A 29-year-old Gardnerville woman was arrested Sunday for a misdemeanor bench warrant, violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $1,000.
— A 26-year-old Fernley woman was arrested for a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant out of Sparks Township. Bail: $1,051 cash.
