The latest in the Carson City retention pond Roop and Little Lane lake monster saga continued Friday morning with two, possibly three, little ones seen floating alongside Carson Cassie and what now appears to have been a suitor who joined her earlier this week.
This latest photo came courtesy of Carson City resident Ann McKnight who took it from a distance and informed us “there’s babies now.” Look closely. They’re there. A second photo was provided a little later by Dezurae Leedom.
You can also view closeups by Scott Schrantz at AroundCarson.com here. Or better yet take a drive and see for yourself.
We’re sure there will be some debate as to whether there are two or three little ones. Check out the AroundCarson.com photos.
On Wednesday, Carson City resident Cirra Wood sent us a photo of the second lake monster to appear at the retention pond, which can be found here. The first monster appeared mysteriously around March 9 or March 10. Go here for the photo provided by Erin Wright.
Now there are four (or is it 5?) lake monsters and no explanation as to how they got there other than it has been an unusual year already given all the rain and flooding and what not and so forth. The illogical appearance of these creatures begs the logical question: What will happen April 1st?
Stay tuned.
