The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at the Pizza Hut restaurant in Gardnerville on Monday night.
At 8:15 pm, a male entered the restaurant at 1362 Highway 395, produced a handgun and demanded the clerk give him money from the cash register, said Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Pat Brooks.
The suspect is approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, medium build, wearing dark sunglasses, a dark gray or black pullover hoodie, a navy blue neckerchief and a solid white neckerchief.
The suspect left the store on foot out of view. There was a quick capture on video, as seen below.
