Nine Scouters in the Nevada Area Council were honored with Scouting’s Silver Beaver Award on Friday evening March 18, 2016. For their time that is devoted to Scouting are Scott Sneddon, left, and Lisa Van Wagenen of Pinenut District; Brett White, Lori Bigham, and Gregory Rabina, Sierra District; and James Beaver, Northstar District. Also receiving the honor, but unable to attend the dinner, were Jacob Carter, Beverly Sandberg, Bristlecone District; Daniel Hunsker, Sierra District.
The ceremony was held at the Peppermill in Reno and was part of the Nevada Area Council’s Annual Business Meeting that reports on the condition of Scouting in Northern Nevada and Northeastern California.
