The Carson City Fire Department will be awarded on March 25, 2016 with the Golden Rotor award from Care Flight for the recognition of the lifesaving practices performed by Carson City’s firefighters and paramedics.

The award will be presented to Fire Chief Robert Schreihans, 9 a.m. at Fire Station 52, 2400 East College Parkway, Carson City. The Golden Rotor Award is given to agencies that perform lifesaving rescues that are considered above and beyond the normal emergency responses.
