Dayton residents long have been battling to convince the state to approve a traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Fortune Drive. Last week, they got their wish.
At its March 9 meeting, the Nevada Department of Transportation board of directors agreed to issue a permit to allow the traffic signal.
