Care Flight was called and Carson City fire and ambulance responded this morning to a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Fairview and Sweetwater.
The crash was reported at around 8:45 a.m. Initial reports are the motorcyclist had serious injuries, was conscious but with labored breathing and that he could not feel his legs.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office responded to redirect traffic around the accident and to investigate.
The victim was taken by ambulance to the Carson City Airport and then flown by Care Flight air ambulance to the trauma ward of Renown Medical Center in Reno.
The extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.
