Going with “emotion” as their theme, local photographers reached for warmth, sentiment and sensation in their works that garnered multiple first, second and third place honors in this month’s Carson City Photo Club competition.

The Carson City Photo Club meets at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month except December at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office Ormsby Room. Guests should use the west entrance. All levels of photographers are welcome.
The theme for April is “Frost or Pogonip.” Become a member for only $15 per year and submit your 8×10 matted photo, taken within the last year, in the competition. Go here for more information.
