It is with the heaviest of heart that we announced the passing of our mother Jeanne Louise Thomas Wilkison on November 22, 2025.
Jeanne was born December 15, 1958 to Shirley and Robert Thomas in Honolulu, Hawaii. She grew up and spent the majority of her childhood in San Diego and graduated from El Capitan High School.
In 1981 she moved to Dayton NV where she was married to Charles Wilkison for 25 years and had 2 daughters Kristine and Kelsey.
Jeanne was a friend to everyone she ever met. She never missed a chance to support her kids in everything they did, was a Girl Scout leader and second mom to many.
Later in life Jeanne lived for her grandkids and great grandson and would spend as much time as she could with them. Jeanne was part of the Blue Star moms of Northern Nevada for many years supporting the men and woman in the military, always at the airport to welcome home the Honor Flight Veterans.
Jeanne is proceeded in death by both her parents and big brother Ronald Thomas.
She leaves behind 2 sister Luann (Jim) and Janette (Art) a brother Gary (Sherri), and loving boyfriend of 11 years Mike Turner. Her 2 daughter Kristine (Nate) and Kelsey (Tracer), 4 grandchildren Aubree-Lynne, Dominik, Cullen and Delpha and 1 great grandson Armani.
The world is a much emptier place without Jeanne in it, and she will be greatly missed by everyone who loves her. Jeanne loved to be outside soaking up the sun so we will have a celebration in her honor on April 19th at Ross Gold Park in Carson City NV at noon, 2800 Appion Way, Carson City, NV 89701.
