When the Carson City Downtown Business Association (DBA) says the monthly Wine Walk is held rain, snow or shine, it isn’t kidding around.

Carson City’s downtown business and historic districts were bustling Saturday with Wine Walk participants enjoying sights and sips, despite cool, wet weather that failed to dampen their spirits.

Many wine walkers donned Irish green ahead of this month’s St. Patrick’s Day holiday.

The Carson City DBA Wine Walk occurs from 1-5 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month despite the weather. Numerous downtown venues participate in the walk, inviting guests to sample wine and check out everything that downtown Carson City businesses have to offer.

Cost is $15 and includes an official Carson City Wine Walk glass as well as entry into a raffle after the walk. Those who already have an official glass pay just $10 for the afternoon.
