A group of local religious leaders will discuss lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues Thursday, March 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the BRIC, 108 East
Telegraph Street, Carson City, NV. The format is a panel discussion and each panelist will share about their denomination’s stance on LGBT persons. A question and answer session will follow. The public is invited to attend.

Confirmed to sit on the panel are Jeff Paul, St. Peter’s Lutheran; Stan Pesis, St. Paul’s Lutheran Family; Larry Schneider, Unity Church of Today; Farrell Cafferata, Reform Judaism; Gail and Gil Center for Spiritual Living; and Holly Wilson, Circle’s Edge.

The Religious Panel sponsored annually by PFLAG Carson Region, and is one of the best attended meetings of the year.

PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) Carson Region is a chapter of PFLAG National. The mission of PFLAG is to promote the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through support, education, and advocacy.
