Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called Tuesday morning to the intersection of William and Carson Streets for an accident involving a pedestrian.

The incident was reported at around 9:30 a.m., and involves a 51-year-old man who was struck by a vehicle. The patient was conscious and suffering from a bloody nose, according to first responders on scene.

Carson City Fire Department paramedics evaluated the patient and will be transporting to the hospital.

Traffic is being re-routed around the accident. Motorists can expect delays.
