A 20-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery after an argument between a father and son that became physical, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.
Deputies were dispatched at 6:38 a.m. to the 600 block of East Robinson Street for a report of a domestic battery. The reporting party advised dispatch that someone had put their hands on him. The reporting party advised the other party left the scene.
A deputy arrived and observed a man standing outside of the residence. Also, with him was his wife. The deputy contacted the man who advised that his father had battered him. He stated he had gone outside to fix a car cover when the father approached him and began yelling at him.
