Peaking at the “Top of his Game,” Carson High School Athletic Director Thomas Reymer was selected by the Nevada Athletic Directors Association (NADA) and scored the 2025 4A/5A Athletic Director of the Year for the state of Nevada.
The honor, presented during an Awards Ceremony at the Nevada State Athletic Director Conference Saturday, Feb. 22, was based upon Reymer’s outstanding leadership, dedication and contributions to student-athletes, coaches and the northern Nevada athletic community.
Reymer, who has served as Carson High School’s Athletic Director since 2023, has been instrumental in strengthening the school’s athletic programs, fostering a culture of excellence and advocating for student success both on and off the field. His commitment to sportsmanship, athlete development and community engagement has set a standard of excellence within Nevada high school athletics.
The NADA is a nonprofit organization committed to its members and dedicated to providing professional development, leadership opportunities and support within its administrative community. NADA was founded in 1988 to provide a professional organization for the public, private and parochial athletic administrators in secondary schools in Nevada. NADA was founded upon the framework of ethical standards, sportsmanship and the promotion of healthy competition for all student-athletes.
The annual NADA Conference is held in February and attracts more than 150 members and 20+ vendors from the sports and athletic administration industry. Traditionally, the conference stages numerous professional development opportunities for attendees including relevant topics and nationally recognized speakers. Members also have time to network with their colleagues and with leaders who are making a difference in local sports programs.
