It is with great sadness that the family of Leigh Ann Halvorson (nee Childress) announce her passing on December 16 2025, at the age of 55.
Leigh spent her school years in Petaluma, California, graduating from Casa Grande High School in 1988, then moving to South Lake Tahoe, CA where she met her husband, Kevin. The two were married in 1996. Leigh was employed at Carson Tahoe Hospital July 1999 until her passing.
She is survived by her husband Kevin, her son Keegan and his fiancé; her mother Esty Childress Guidry and stepfather Harold Guidry; sister and brother-in-law Shay and Lee Zanetti; in-laws Tom and Lorain Halvorson; as well as aunts, uncles, a niece, a nephew, brothers-in-law, and cousins throughout California and Nevada.
A celebration of life will be held at Dayton Valley Community Center (170 Pike St. Dayton, NV) on Sunday March 29, 2026, 1:00-3:00 pm.
