
A 33-year-old man was arrested Saturday for suspicion of misdemeanor defacing property with graffiti, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.
A deputy was driving past an apartment complex on Carson Meadows and observed a hooded man actively spray-painting graffiti worded as “South Sid.” The man was attempting to paint the “D” when the officer activated their overhead lights and instructed the man to put his hands up. The man put the spray paint can in his hoodie pocket and put his hands in the air, the report states.
The officer detained him, continued the investigation, spoke with the apartment property manager and then booked him for the alleged crime, estimated to be around $500 to fix. Bail: $637.
— A 34-year-old woman, Brittney Nicole Much, was arrested Saturday for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (suspected methamphetamine) and violation of a suspended sentence warrant. Bail: $3,000 cash for the warrant and $2,500 for possession of a controlled substance.
— A 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued Feb. 13, 2024 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500 cash.
— A 30-year-old woman was arrested Friday for a misdemeanor failure to comply warrant issued out of East Fork Township court. Bail: $338 cash.
— A 47-year-old Reno man was arrested Friday for a warrant alleging misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence, issued out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 47-year-old woman was arrested Friday for suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm inside a structure and misdemeanor domestic battery, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report. Kirsten Liebendorfer was taken into custody at 9:55 p.m. following an investigation of shots fired inside a residence. Bail: $20,000.
— A 55-year-old Carson City man, Luis Rico-Soto, was arrested Sunday for suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance (suspected methamphetamine.) Bail: $2,500.
— A 33-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was arrested Sunday for a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant out of Esmeralda Justice Court. Bail: $280 cash.
— A 33-year-old woman was arrested Monday for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI second offense, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.
According to the booking report, a deputy was driving northbound on Fairview Drive and observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Fairview drive coming toward the patrol vehicle with the front passenger headlight out. The officer turned around and conducted a traffic stop at Fairview and Pheasant Way.
The officer spoke with the woman who advised she was coming from a bar. The officer could smell an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her person, the report states. The officer asked if she had consumed any alcoholic beverages. The woman stated she had one beer.
The woman consented to a field sobriety test and showed signs of impairment. She agreed to a preliminary breath test with a result of .178. She was arrested for suspicion of DUI. At jail she provided evidentiary breath tests of .102 and .110. Bail: $2,500.
— A 47-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday for three misdemeanor violation of bail condition bench warrants issued out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $9,000 cash.
— A 41-year-old man, William Clifford Kirst, was arrested Monday for felony parole violation out of Reno. He’s being held without bail in lieu of a hearing.
— A 38-year-old Reno woman was arrested early Tuesday for suspicion of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and suspended registration and no proof of insurance. Bail: $1,137.
