Carson City emergency crews responded Wednesday night to a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Washington and Stewart streets.
A Care Flight helicopter was ordered because of at least one injured in the accident. The accident happened at around 7:40 p.m.
The condition of the pedestrian is unknown at this time. The Care Flight helicopter will take them to Renown Medical Center in Reno. The landing site for Care Flight was to be the former Carson Tahoe Hospital.
Carson City sheriff’s deputies have re-routed traffic at Stewart and Washington streets.
