You may have seen the recent news of the drone that flew inside of the Sutro Tunnel. Here is the 3D video of the site and inside the tunnel.
We have found that the beyond the initial collapse, the Sutro Tunnel is wide open as far as the equipment could travel. We also found that the air quality is good. We have given this information and much more to our engineer who is designing a way to reopen the tunnel and make it structurally sound.
We are working on passing our findings onto potential donor sources and sharing it with the community. We hope that soon we will all be able to go inside of the Sutro Tunnel and be inside of the Comstock.
