An electrical issue at Seeliger Elementary School in Carson City, which closed the school Tuesday, has been resolved with classes to resume Wednesday on the usual schedule, said Carson City School District Superintendent Richard Stokes.

The problem had been a malfunction in the electrical system in which a part was needed to be found and replaced. The part was located Tuesday and maintenance crews are doing the install as of Tuesday afternoon, said Stokes. He said he appreciates the patience of parents and staff through the process.

Seeliger students were invited to spend Tuesday at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada and the Kids Club program at the Carson City Community Center.
