After last month’s cloudy and cold wine walk, participants enjoyed warmer temperatures and downtown Carson City businesses were eager to please the bigger pre-Valentine’s Day crowd Saturday.
Whether you enjoy a robust red, a fruity white, or something in-between, there is something for everyone at this monthly Carson City event. Adults conversing and the sound horse hooves from the Wine Walk Stagecoach could be found all around Telegraph Square. New to the festivities was an art exhibit outside the Nevada Day Store and Trading Post where photographs from local photographers could be viewed and discussed with the artists themselves.
Held on the first Saturday of every month from 1pm to 5pm, the Carson City Wine Walk is sponsored by the Downtown Business Association. For $15 dollars you get access to the wine, complimentary cheese and crackers at select locations, a keepsake wine glass, and a reason to explore downtown. If you missed Saturday’s walk, make plans for March 5th and don’t miss out!
