Artists are invited to submit art that celebrates Colors and Textures. This is a 2026 Judged show for members and non-members. Please start sending your photos of your entries now to naacarsoncity@gmail.com. Read what is needed below under NAA Marketing.

Time: 9AM to 12PM (No late entries)
Location: Nevada Artists Association Art Gallery, 449 W. King Street, Carson City, NV

Important Dates:
Show dates: February 14 – March 27, 2026
Gallery hours: 12-4PM, Tuesday – Sunday, closed Mondays and for holiday breaks
Reception: Thursday, February 19th, 5-7 PM (music and refreshments served, bring friends and family)
Work (unsold) pick up: 9AM-12PM, March 28, 2026

Entries
• Following the theme is encouraged, but optional.
• Number of entries: Limited to three entries per person. Must be 13 years or older.
• Size Limit: Entries may not exceed 3 feet in width (including frame), and 16 square feet (including frame). Basically, no more than 3 feet wide by 5.33 feet high (including frame)
• Entry Fees: Members – $10 first entry, $5 each for 2nd and 3rd entries
Non-Members – $20 first entry, $10 each for 2nd and 3rd entries

• Any new member joining on entry day will be considered a member, pay member fee rates, and will be a member through 2026. Membership information can be found at: www.nevadaartists.org.
• Bring your entries, entry form, and payment with you February 14, 2026.
• All entries intended to be hung must have a wire for hanging with taped ends and felt or plastic bumpers where the entry will come in contact with the wall. Saw tooth hangers will not be accepted.
• Your name, the title of the entry and the price must be on the back of each entry and must be the same information as on the entry form for each piece. Please write legibly.
• Certificate of Authenticity- It is not required but gives your work credibility and professionalism.
• The Show Committee reserves the right to reject entries not in compliance with the Show rules and regulations. Please see attached Show Rules and Regulations.

All entries MUST be for sale. Unless sold, entries must remain for the duration of the show. NAA collects a 25% commission on entries sold.

Judging and Awards
Judging will take place on Sunday, February 15th by three judges. Winners will be announced at our reception on social media, through emails and in CarsonNow. Cash awards and ribbons will be awarded for Best of Show, and to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category. Honorable Mentions will receive ribbons. There will also be a Colors and Textures Award. There must be at least 3 entries in a category for judging. Any category not receiving three entries will be combined into the “Other” category and if there are more than three, will be judged as a category. The public will be invited to vote for People’s Choice for the duration of the show and the winner will be awarded cash and a ribbon. The winning People’s Choice entry will be displayed for sale through the next show, the Flora and Fauna Show.

NAA Marketing
Please send photos as soon as possible of each entry to naacarsoncity@gmail.com. Do not wait until the last minute. Mats and frames should be cropped out of photos you send of your entries. Give file names for photographs of your entries that include the title of the piece and your name. Make sure that the title that you give your entry is the same as the title you put on your entry form. For example: River in the Desert by Jack Spratt. This helps NAA market your work during the run of the show and when there are sales of your work.

Hosting Requirements
All NAA members who enter this show are required to host at the gallery two times per show or pay a non-hosting fee of $10 each time you cannot host. You will sign up to host when you deliver your work. You will be trained if you have not hosted before.
