
Carson City area casinos saw gaming revenue climb nearly 10 percent in December, according to figures released Wednesday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Casinos in Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville and all other areas of Douglas County except Stateline, generated $9,333,656 in “gaming win” or a 9.97 percent increase over December 2016 figures.
Elsewhere around western Nevada, Reno casinos saw a 10.25 percent increase, North Lake Tahoe a 9.97 decrease and South Lake Tahoe a 1.24 percent decrease.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $960,384,350 for December 2017, a 0.44 increase compared to December 2016.
