Fuzzy needs medical attention and a furever home
Fuzzy needs medical attention and a furever home

A GoFundMe account has been started by local Tiffany Dubois for an adorable dog in need. Fuzzy is an Australian Shepherd dog who is about 5 years old. In October he was tied by a leash to the front porch of a rural animal shelter in Yerington, Nevada. He was left with a teddy bear, french fries and a note attached to his leash saying that someone found him but couldn’t care for him. The animal shelter took him in and have been caring for him since.

When Fuzzy was found abandoned at the shelter, he had an injured rear leg. The shelter volunteers have been hoping that it would heal on its own, but it hasn’t. A volunteer tried to take Fuzzy to the vet today and pay for him to get an exam and x-rays but because he is in pain, the vet wasn’t able to do the x-rays without sedating Fuzzy. It is very expensive to have Fuzzy sedated so he wasn’t able to get the x-rays today.

We are trying to help raise $800 for Fuzzy to get a complete exam, have his blood drawn and be sedated for x-rays so that we can find out exactly what is wrong with his injured foot.

Donations can be made directly to Lone Mountain Veterinary Hospital at 780 E. College Parkway, Carson City 775-883-3136 or through Fuzzy’s GoFundMe account here.

Any help to get him the medical attention that he needs would be greatly appreciated! He is a lovely dog that needs a helping hand and a furever home.
