JOIN, Inc. is pleased to announce the selection of Denise Castle as its Executive Director. Castle brings with her 10 years of local non-profit experience and previously held the position of Regional Branch Manager for the JOIN, Inc. office serving Carson City and the surrounding areas.
Castle began her career in workforce development eight years ago when she created a grant-funded employment program for Douglas County. She continues to participate in numerous regional collaborations devoted to building a skilled workforce and improving the economic climate of northern Nevada. Castle maintains an active seat as a board member on the Governor’s Workforce Development Board, Manufacturing and Logistics Sector Council, and the Northern Nevada Development Authority.
JOIN, Inc. is a private, non-profit workforce development agency that assists northern Nevadans to gain or improve the occupational skills necessary to obtain full-time employment at a living wage. It is funded primarily by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and Nevadaworks, and has branch offices in Reno, Carson City, Elko, Ely, Fallon, Fernley and Winnemucca.
