Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called late Wednesday morning to a crash involving possibly up to four vehicles near the intersection of Imperial Way and College Parkway.
The crash was reported at 10:47 a.m. Some of those involved in the crash have suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to fire department personnel on scene. Two were transported via ground ambulance. Four have declined medical attention.
Arriving firefighters on scene report the crash is a rear-end collision with significant damage to some of the vehicles involved.
Traffic in the westbound lane is blocked due to the crash. Motorists should find alternative routes.
The cause is under investigation.
