The Carson City Historical Society will open the historic Foreman-Roberts House Museum on Saturday, January 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in conjunction with the UNR Carson City Master Gardener group’s National Seed Swap Day celebration being held at the Museum’s adjacent Carriage House.
The museum is located at 1207 N. Carson Street, Carson City. Visitors are invited to tour the house while attending the family-friendly seed swap event taking place in the Carriage House.
“We’re thrilled to be part of this celebration,” said Liz Cain, President of the Carson City Historical Society and a UNR Master Gardener. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring together gardening, history, and community—and to welcome people into a historic home that many have never seen before.”
The Foreman-Roberts House Museum is operated by the Carson City Historical Society, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
