UPDATED: Due to inclement weather, all schools in the Carson City School District are on a 2-hour delay for Monday, as is Western Nevada College. Lyon County schools will be on a one hour delay. All schools in Douglas County will be closed, according to an announcement Monday morning on the district’s website.
Secondary schools in Carson City will begin at approximately 9:45 a.m. and elementary schools in Carson City will begin at approximately 10:15 a.m.
Buses will pick students up approximately 2 hours later than their regular schedule. Morning Pre-K classes are canceled. The school day will end at the usual time. Check the district website for any changes.

All WNC campuses are on a two hour delay today, Monday, Jan. 23, and will open at 10 a.m.
Classes that begin before 10 are cancelled. Classes beginning after 10 will run as regularly scheduled.
The Child Development Center on the Carson City campus will open at its regular time.
