The Carson City Library hosted Tales and Wags Therapy Dogs, a reading program for youth who need to improve their communication and reading skills.

Therapy dogs were present in the children’s section of the library, giving their full attention to young readers who were as happy to read stories to the canines as they were loving them up.

The program is free to attend, and participants receive a free book at the end of the reading hour.
