Saturday went to the dogs at Fuji Park dog park as owners and their four-legged friends enjoyed mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures into the mid-50s.

But the good weather won’t hold. Rain is in the forecast for Sunday, starting with a 30 percent chance at 4 a.m. and increasing to 90 percent as the day goes on, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno reported.

Although Sunday is expected to be wet, the daytime high temperature should hover around 50 degrees.

The chance rain may turn to a chance for snow Sunday night into Monday as the overnight low is forecast to drop to about 25 degrees by Monday morning.

That chance of snow, however, drops to slight at around 20 percent Monday, which is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The daytime high Monday will be notably cooler at around 39 degrees.
